Massimiliano Braconi

Massimiliano Braconi was born on November 25, 1974, in Civita Castellana. After completing his studies at the Art high school , he earned a degree in Design from the European Institute of Design (IED) in Rome.

In 2000, he founded his own studio in Viterbo, beginning collaborations with both Italian and international companies as a Designer, Interior Designer, Art Director, and Artist. He has received numerous accolades, including the A’ Design Award in 2016, the German Design Award in 2017, the Icon Awards in 2018 and 2019, the ADI Design Index selection in 2019, the Compasso d’Oro pre-selection in 2020, the Archiproducts Design Award in 2019, the Good Design Award (Chicago) in 2020, the iF Design Award in 2020, the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award in 2022, and the ADI Design Index nomination for the Compasso d’Oro in 2022.

A chameleon-like and visionary artist, he defines himself as an “unconventional visionary artist.” He brings his utopias to life in the freest and most liberating way possible, continually pushing his own boundaries in pursuit of an “aesthetic” experience as an authentic expression of the individual.

Always in search of unique visual and sensory concepts, he merges Art and Design, creating a pure visual language that is independent of conventional and contaminated realities.

Massimiliano Iosa Ghini

Massimo Iosa Ghini (Bologna, 1959). Considered one of the most prominent Italian architects and designers on the international design scene, participated in the Eighties in the innovative activities of the design avant-garde, founding the cultural movement of Bolidismo and participating in the Memphis group of Ettore Sottsass.

In 1990 he opened the studio Iosa Ghini Associates, which now operates in Milan, Bologna, Moscow and Miami, developing projects for large groups and international developers and designing residential, commercial and museum architectural spaces, cultural installations, areas and facilities dedicated to public transport and retail projects for international groups. His major works of interior design and architecture include the worldwide development of the Ferrari Store and Kiko Store chains, the headquarters of Capital Group in Moscow, Casa Museo Giorgio Morandi in Bologna, the Kröpcke Metro Station in Hanover, the collaboration with the Cremonini Group Chef Express for motorway and airport areas, the recent electric transport line Marconi Express in Bologna, IBM Rome Software Lab in Rome and the Brickell Flatiron residential building in Miami, projects under construction of Starhotels E.C.HO. inside the Fico Park.

He has taught at the University La Sapienza of Rome, since 2008 he has been Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic of Hong Kong and at the Department of Architecture, University of Ferrara. Many of the products designed by him are in various museum collections and have received awards and commendations, among which International Architectural Award by Chicago Athenaeum, Good Design Award, Roscoe Award, IAI Green Design Award, iF Product Design Award and Red Dot Award. In 2013 Triennale di Milano dedicated a solo – exhibition to his work “From the beginnings to the sustainable present”. In 2015, the retail concept Kiko Milano won the Best Retail Global Expansion award at MAPIC 2014.

Massimo Iosa Ghini, appointed Ambassador of Italian Design and Red Dot Network, Active Member of Leonardo Committee and Effective Member of the Accademia Clementina, received the Marconi Award for Creativity in 2015.

Massimiliano Abati

Massimiliano Abati (1975) is considered one of the most brilliant architects and designers of his generation. After an early education in the arts, he studied architecture at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, where he developed a project vision strongly rooted in aesthetics and formal experimentation.

In 1997, he began working as a student and collaborator in the studio of Paolo Portoghesi, where he contributed to the exploration of new stylistic codes and took part in the development of major conceptual and architectural ideas. This experience marked the beginning of a career that blends architectural rigor with a strong visual sensibility. Since 2002, Abati has worked as a freelance professional, collaborating with some of the most renowned fashion and entertainment agencies, further refining his ability to merge visual language with cutting-edge design.

Around the same time, he entered the world of ceramics and furniture design, creating collections for leading companies in the bathroom and interior design sectors. With GSG Ceramic Design, he launched his first emotionally impactful bathroom concepts, exploring the use of innovative materials such as glass and pietraluce. His creations stand out for their avant-garde aesthetics and strong evocative power.

Among his most well-known works are the Glass, Touch, and OZ collections for GSG, as well as the Albero shower system for Ceramica Flaminia true design icons that blend function, art, and material expression.
